About the event
Are you ready for an unforgettable and educational experience? Step into the fascinating world of honeybees with our hands-on exploration of an active beehive! Led by a professional beekeeper, this tour will give you a unique opportunity to understand the importance of honeybees and their survival.
During the tour, you'll have the chance to suit up in protective gear and feel the buzz of over 100,000 bees in one or more of our thriving hives.
Our experienced beekeeper will guide you through the process and get lots of photos and videos of you suited up and holding frames of live honeybees!
Witness the incredible work of honeybees as they create honey, observe the "birth" of new bees, meet a real queen and possibly learn some new moves as you observe honeybees doing a waggle dance! You'll gain valuable insights into what you can do to contribute to their health and survival.
But that's not all! As part of the tour, you'll also get to taste honey fresh from the hive, a truly delightful experience for your senses. There will be more available for you to purchase to take home.
