Wax Wrap Plastic Wrap Alternative
 
We’ve been minding our beeswax to make a reusable, eco friendly alternative to plastic wrap with zero waste. It’s made in NC from our very own sustainably sourced beeswax combined with organic jojoba oil, and pine tree resin on 100% cotton.
Our wraps form a protective, breathable, antimicrobial seal that lets food breathe so it can stay fresher, longer. This combination of ingredients creates a pliable food wrapper with natural antibacterial properties that can be used again and again.
 
To use: Activate by warming with hands until flexible. Use as you would use cling wrap, around a bowl, fruit half, sandwich or cheese. You can also fold it into snack pouches and envelopes to hold crackers, nuts and other treats, replacing the need for plastic zip storage bags. It freezes well too! Just make sure not to wrap things like raw meat, seafood or poultry. Wash in cool, soapy water. Do not heat. It should lasts for up to a year with proper care. You'll know your wrap has reached the end of its useful life when has trouble sticking to itself. At this time, you can cut your wrap into strips and add to your compost pile, or use as a natural and effective fire starter.
